Kathmandu– Department of mechanical engineering and civil engineering together in collaboration are organizing three day exhibition program on the premises of IOE, Pulchowk Campus which will held on Feb 20 and run till Feb 22. This is the first mechanical engineering exhibition in Nepal. The main features of program include exhibition of existing technological advancements in Pulchowk Campus.
Various competitions will be carried out during this exhibition. Program co-coordinator Sanjiv Poudel says “the competitions will help to improve student’s skill and also will provide platform for engineering student to show their technical knowledge.” Department of mechanical engineering and civil engineering will be organizing various competitions like mechanical design competition, Poster competition, Paper bridge competition, Paper plane competition, Bachelor level mechanical Design competition, two quiz competition, Model demonstrations, Lab demonstrations, Photography competition, BE model competition, Seminars and many more other competition .
This kind of exhibition has been one of the important platforms for engineering students from all around the country to explore their technical expertise in front of national audience. “A number of entertainment zones are also included to entertain the visitors”, said Chief Correspondent of program, Tejan Adhikari.
